Accessibility Statement

We aim to provide accessible and useable information for as many users as possible, without discrimination.

In developing this site, we attempted to follow the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.0.  Improvements to accessibility are ongoing.

This website uses Cascading Style Sheets to provide a consistent layout and format.  The homepage banner has an A+ and A- symbol to increase or decrease text size, as well as settings to alter viewing contrast.  Alternatively, you can adjust text size and zoom settings in your browser.

While we do our best to support users with older browsers, the reality is that some of our online resources are enhanced by the use of modern, standards-compliant browsers which have both javascript and cookies enabled.

Modern, standards-compliant browsers include;

  • Internet Explorer 9
  • Safari
  • Firefox
  • Chrome
  • Opera
  • SeaMonkey
  • Camino

Where possible we have attempted to used HTML language to present information, however, there are circumstances where information and/or documents are presented as PDF content. To help open PDFs, you can choose from this list of downloadable readers assembled by the Australian Government.

If you encounter problems opening PDFs, please telephone our Web Coordinator on (02) 4350 5555 for assistance.
